Can I offer delivery in 10 or 15 minutes?
Yes. Set up an express slot that delivers within a number of minutes you choose, per store. Hitting it depends on your zone size and floor team, which is why zones and slot caps are set per dark store.
How do I limit how far each dark store delivers?
Give each store its own delivery area: a radius around the store, a polygon drawn on the map, or a list of pin codes. Orders from addresses outside the area are not accepted for that store.
What stops the app from selling items that are out of stock?
The website, apps and POS all sell from the same stock count for each store. You can also hold back a stock buffer so the last few units of fast movers don’t oversell.
Do I get apps for pickers and riders?
Yes. The Android picker app handles picking with scanning, quality check, packing and label printing. The rider app handles drops, live location, payment collection and signatures.
Can customers track their rider?
Yes. The rider app shares live location and an ETA, so customers and your team can follow the order until it is delivered.
What happens when a dark store is overloaded?
Slots have an order cap, and you can block a slot by hand when the floor is full so it stops showing at checkout. A store can pass an order it can’t fulfil to another store.
