How do I sell the same pet food in different pack sizes and flavours?
List it as one product and add flavour and pack size as variants. Each variant has its own price, SKU, barcode and stock, and the customer chooses both on the product page.
Can I remind customers when it is time to reorder pet food?
Yes. Mark the product as recurring and set how often it is bought, such as every 30 days. When an order with it is completed, Zopping schedules reminder emails 10, 5 and 1 day before the next purchase is due.
Is the reorder reminder an automatic subscription?
No. It is only a reminder email, and nothing is charged automatically. The customer places the next order, and any reminders still waiting are skipped once they rebuy.
How can I track expiry dates for pet food and treats?
Record the batch or lot and its expiry date when stock arrives. You can then see which batches are close to expiry at each location and sell those first.
Can I charge extra for delivering heavy bags of pet food?
Yes. The fee for each delivery area can combine a fixed amount, a rate for each unit of weight above your limit, and a percentage of the order value. Weight comes from each product’s weight. You can also offer free delivery above an amount.
Can customers shop by pet type or life stage?
Yes. Make categories for dogs, cats, birds and fish, and add fields such as life stage or food type. Fields set as filters show up on your category pages.
Can I give my regular customers free delivery?
Yes. Sell a paid VIP membership with a price, a length of time and perks such as free delivery or extra cashback. You can also see how many members renew.
Can I bill customers at my pet shop counter too?
Yes. Zopping POS bills at the counter with cash, card or UPI. It uses the same stock count as your website and app.
